Our Story

Hi, thank you for visiting Oh So Sadie Handmade. I'm Gem, creator, maker, tea drinker and dog mum. That there is my bestie Sadie.

I share my life with ten dogs! I think when you get to that number the exclamation mark is needed. Over the years we have filled our home with the most incredible 'wonky' rescues, dogs that wouldn't have had much of a chance anywhere else. They are my world and my constant source of inspiration.

I first started stamping in 2013, armed with a hammer and a stack of letter punches I stamped vintage cutlery and jewellery. It wasn't until we had foster dogs that I began stamping their ID tags, fosters would often turn up at short notice and it was easier for me to create them myself.

 

Everything at Oh So Sadie is lovingly made by hand using traditional tools, stamped one letter at a time making them completely unique with endless design possibilities.

I live in the Lincolnshire countryside surrounded by woodland walks and close to the river. When I'm not in my studio you would probably find me pottering in the garden with an an old dog or two at my feet.
