What is Hand Stamping?

Hand Stamping is a unique way of making an imprint onto metal.

Made entirely by hand, no machines here!

Using our ever growing collection of fonts and designs each letter, number, flower, tree, star and dot are all individually hammered into the metal.

Hand Stamping takes a lot of practice and relies on hand to eye coordination coupled with striking a very hefty hammer. A single pet tag could contain over fifty hammer strikes depending on design and contact details. It takes a lot of practice, it's a very unforgiving creative process and unfortunately the smallest mistake or the slightest slip of the stamp and that whole piece is ruined and the process starts over.

I love stamping! I don't think I will ever tire of the endless possibilities of creating something simply armed with a metal die and a hammer.
